A quick experiment that I've occasionally come back to and messed with. I started out thinking I'd make an 8-way-shooter-ish game but I got some weird ideas and it's not much resembling Geometry Wars or Robotron. Quirks:

  • All enemy behavior is tied to the "beat"
  • Bosses are more like mini-games (not yet implemented at all)
  • no shooting
  • Enemy behavior and shots "telegraphed" but still challenging
  • Despite what it looks like, the graphics and sound aren't necessarily placeholders

I intend to keep updating this, but updates will be infrequent.

Move the red box with the mouse. The yellow thing is the shield. Use it to reflect shots back at the pink things. Don't let the red box get shot.
